Stefan Gevers takes a contemporary approach to working with watercolour on paper. His work is inspired by many road trips through country Australia. His interest in the natural environment & delicate shifting patterns in nature are often a starting point for paintings in acrylic & watercolour. Stefan has been teaching watercolour classes since 2009 and is highly regarded teacher with a strong following of students. He has taught Nationally , Internationally and runs regular watercolour courses and demonstrations. Stefan’s work has been collected by the Victorian & Queensland State Libraries, Artbank the NAB collection, and numerous private collections throughout Australia and Europe. He has been awarded the Yerring Station Sculpture prize & the Banyule Art Prize "environment Award. Stefan exhibits widely as a solo artist and as part of collaborative exhibitions.     Yes it suitable for beginners but also for the more experienced student who would like to increase their skill level. Recommended is to do the contemporary workshop first but the landscape workshop is for beginners as well and for those who like to explore landscape painting in different ways.

    Yes, Stefan will reply personally to you but take in mind the time changes world wide. We also have our own community which can join. A great supportive platform to share your work and ask questions.

  • Do I need to finish the course in one session

    No, you have as much time as you need and access is unlimited

    Yes, but in Australia only. Stefan is a Melbourne based artist and teaches locally, regionally and interstate.
